Mr. Singh came for roadside assistance today because our semi truck would not start near an Amazon warehouse. He attempted to jump-start the truck several times but was unsuccessful. He told me that the battery was completely dead and that we needed to replace them new batteries. However, our company mechanic advised that the batteries did not need replacement. Since no successful roadside solution was provided, I paid Mr. Singh $125 and asked him to leave. Shortly afterward, another truck stopped to help, and using jumper cables, we were able to start the truck immediately. Based on this experience, I felt that replacing the batteries may have been recommended too quickly without fully ruling out other solutions first. Please be cautious and consider getting a second opinion if you are advised to replace your battery.
